Detailed parameters

Indicator system: All cloud platforms are evaluated from two dimensions of basic network performance and transmission performance based on the same hardware configuration and network environment. Monitoring nodes include IDC nodes and Last Mile nodes. 152 monitoring nodes (59 IDC nodes and 93 Last Mile nodes) cover 31 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the central government (excluding Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan). The operators selected the current network traffic accounted for the highest proportion of the three operators Unicom, Telecom and mobile.

Index Definition:

· Packet loss rate: Packet loss rate is the ratio of lost packets to the total number of packets transmitted. The packet loss rate may be caused by physical line faults, device faults, network congestion, and route errors.

· Delay: The delay refers to the time required for a message or packet to be transmitted from one end of the network to the other end. The transmission delay is determined by the routing condition of the Internet, and may result in long delay or packet loss if the channel is too crowded or low speed.

· Download availability: ratio of correct transmission times to total transmission monitoring times.

· Download speed: Calculate the median download speed by taking the average of instantaneous speed (i.e. the download speed at a certain moment in the download process).
