I started using Chrome in 2013, which is simple and easy to use. It used to be dedicated to scientific web surfing, but it turned out to be a development necessity. Today sorted out the Chrome shortcut keys, some quite common, familiar with the shortcut keys, even without the mouse can be installed.

Tabs and Windows

  • Create a new TAB for the same window: Ctrl + T
  • Reopen the last closed TAB: Ctrl + Shift + T
  • Open a new window: Ctrl + N
  • Open a new traceless window: Shift + Ctrl + N
  • Open the Home page inside the TAB: Alt + Home
  • Same TAB forward/back: Alt + Right/Alt + Left
  • Switch labels to the left: Ctrl + Tab/Ctrl + PgDn
  • Toggle labels to the right: Ctrl + Shift + Tab/Ctrl + PgUp
  • Close the TAB: Ctrl + W/Ctrl + F4
  • To close the window: Alt + F4 / Ctrl + Shift + W
  • Close the browser: Ctrl + Shift + Q
  • Minimize the current window: Alt + space + N
  • Maximize the current window: Alt + spacebar + X
  • Open links in a new background TAB: Ctrl + Click/Mouse Wheel standalone
  • Open the link and jump to it: Ctrl + Shift + click
  • Open the link in a new window: Shift + click
  • Open links in tabs with the mouse: Drag links into tabs
  • Toggle between maximized mode and Window mode: Double-click the blank area of the TAB bar

  • Download content: Ctrl + J
  • History: Ctrl + H
  • Developer tools: F12 / Ctrl + Shift + J/Ctrl + Shift + I
  • Save web page: Ctrl + S
  • Add bookmarks: Ctrl + D
  • Add Bookmarks to all open pages: Ctrl + Shift + D
  • Bookmark Manager: Ctrl + Shift + O
  • Open the file in your browser: Ctrl + O
  • Task Manager: Shift + Esc
  • Clear history: Ctrl + Shift + Del

The address bar

  • Search using another search engine: Tab

  • Add WWW. And.com to the site name: Ctrl + Enter

  • Address bar search: Ctrl + K/Ctrl + E

  • Jump to the address bar: Ctrl + L/Alt + D/F6

  • Site search: keyword + site: url

page

  • Next page: PgUp
  • Page up: PgDn
  • Print: Ctrl + P
  • Search: Ctrl + F
  • Refresh: Ctrl + R/F5 / Ctrl + F5
  • Slide to the top: Home
  • Slide to the very bottom: End
  • Resize the page font: Ctrl + “+”/Ctrl + “-” or Ctrl + mouse wheel up/down
  • Page font defaults: Ctrl + 0
  • Full screen switch: F11
