But at the same time, compared with countries with developed software industry, China still has a certain gap in software talent training mode and talent value embodiment. In recent years, with the continuous improvement of the demand for software talents in China, the new gap of talents in key software fields has been widening. Strengthening the construction of talents in software industry has become the key to the high-quality development of the industry. From the perspective of talent scale, it is estimated that by 2025, the new talent gap in key software fields in China will reach 830,000. From the perspective of demand types, the jobs in critical software fields are concentrated in high-end technical positions, among which architects and front-end development engineers are most in short supply.
In the next step, China should promote the integration of industry and education and improve the collaborative training system, according to the white paper.
