In 2019, I began to feel confused. I knew I had a lot of problems, but I also had a lot of questions in my heart. I tried to communicate with some big men, but I received very few responses.

I started reading a few books:

Unfortunately, my personal confusion is still not solved, but I am more determined in investment and finance, and I have my own risk preference and investment preference.

I also bought some online courses and reviewed them. Most of them were “interview”, “Workplace” and “career planning”. After listening to all of them, I also took a lot of notes.

In the second half of 2019, I started to try to write articles and update the public account, but no one read it anyway, so I just recorded it for myself.

Then I became the columnist of Tencent Cloud + community. It was a weekend study group and then it was the Nuggets.

I stayed at home for a long time working remotely. I also took advantage of this time to rethink my problems. I also read some source code (Vue, Vuex, VUE-Router), reviewed “Altitude 3”, and learned about TS and browser operating principles. After a period of time, I found that there was no problem with my code ability and business ability. That would rule out another option.

Slowly began to think, this is an ordinary generation, why bother? There is no superior family, background, school, than on the poor, far away from the distance.

Then accept and acknowledge their own ordinary, do not deliberately pursue the speed of others, copy the track of others, but in their own world with their own speed, constantly break through their own, create their own track.

Life is not a movie, there will not be a sudden miracle, the big man is also a step by step to come through, the body of many qualities, spirit are worth learning.

There are still a lot of questions and questions, but it’s much clearer than it was in 2019.

job-hopping

I worked in the former company for exactly three years, and experienced some small projects, 0-1 projects, and several projects with major version changes. I experienced the process from small system to platform system.

Now, looking back, we can see that the problems at that time are no longer a problem, and even some existing problems can be seen: the platform’s insufficient productization ability, the architecture is too complicated and messy, and the planning is not unified. Although there were attempts at small-scale refactoring, it still failed to solve the underlying problem.

These are not perceived at that time, may be “in charge of the fan”.

I never expected to be directly in charge of the project the next day after I joined the new company, and I also had time to familiarize myself with the environment. After three weeks, I found some abilities that I didn’t have that I didn’t have before.

I experienced new employee training, new employee examination, multiple requirements development, follow-up testing and business launch all within a week, and found that only 24 hours a day is really too little. I had to work overtime to catch up with the schedule. In that week, I went home at about 12 o ‘clock every day and went to work in the company at about 9:40 the next day. Then the new employee exam failed, fortunately passed after the make-up exam, or I will inform the leadership.

There are pressures, of course, but these are “small problems”. Of course, there are also areas that can be optimized and improved in the current requirements. Because I have written about it, I can use this idea to try to solve these things.

Later, I was appointed as the first person in charge of a business line, but I understand that this should be temporary, because it is still in the probation period, it still needs a lot of efforts to really get it.

The overall environment of the new company is good, the team is also more energetic, and the promotion system and requirements are very clear, so I will try to rush.

Weekend study group

Stable group members: 3 people, 450 days since the establishment, every Sunday consciously face to face learning. Results: One of them has been learning by himself and basic knowledge for about 9 months and has successfully transferred to another industry with a good salary. The other one is a little slow in learning, so he may not have the idea of changing industries, but he just wants to learn it out of interest.

About this study group

This was when I was bottlenecked and confused, and suddenly an idea came to me: “If I can’t see clearly and move forward at present, I will use my existing ability to help others!” (The source of the signature “I would like to understand your doubts”)

I talked about this in some tech groups on September 25, 2019. There were a lot of people participating in the chat, but few signed up later.

There were only 5 people in the final list before the National Day of 2019, and their free time was confirmed to be on October 3rd. However, there were only 4 people including me in the final attendance. (Sad)

After a period of time, some people come and some people leave. It’s like a landscape on a journey, a fleeting glance and gone. Nice to meet them, of course. And those that stay become good friends.

Slowly, the day’s itinerary is relatively fixed, and then slowly formed a habit, we are more conscious. Although the form is more fixed, but the passion of learning is very high.

There are also some interesting things recently. For example, a little sister who is not from the IT industry thinks we have a strong learning atmosphere and joins us. Then there was a wild little sister who talked about international politics with us. We had a lively debate on different points of view for almost two hours, which was quite fun.

The current status of the study group is good, but I think I should try to do something.

writing

Although I have written some articles, I can feel that writing ability is not my strong point. Writing code is ok, but writing articles is always very tangled, can not be well expressed.

I am still very envious of the leaders who can constantly write and output articles. I also participated in the “Creation Training Camp” of Tencent Cloud + community before, but it is not very helpful for me at present, because the content is more about writing skills. In my own perception, I should be able to create for a long time and have certain experience, and then use some skills to enrich and layering the content.

For example, the two articles “How to Implement a Mini-CLI with Node.js” and “How to Implement CLI to Batch Generate Component Files from Templates?” “Is more like a statement of a thing, not a good description of a thing to be interesting.

I still have to continue to write, slower is not the problem, first to solve the problem of how to write, then I will try a variety of writing styles to find my own style. Then there is the question of how to improve the speed of updating, and finally the use of various writing techniques to enrich the content and create a sense of hierarchy.

You can always learn a lot from talking to the big boys, and then some of the private anxiety is nothing but the shackles you put on yourself. In the study group discussion, I try not to create anxiety for them, and try to encourage them and strengthen their future goals.
