Enterprise IT informationization can be roughly divided into two stages.
The first stage is what we call business informatization, and the second stage is what we call data informatization.
Business informatization usually refers to the software system construction of enterprises to manage various business processes and business data, such as HUMAN resource management system, performance appraisal management system, Ufida U8, NC, KINGdee K3, EAS and so on. Then there are OA systems using finished products or independently constructed by IT departments, various online or offline CRM systems, as well as WMS and MES systems in the manufacturing industry. These are collectively referred to as IT business systems. The object of these systems is the construction of each specific business department, the purpose is also to standardize the business process of the enterprise, improve the efficiency of production and operation, reduce the labor time and management cost of the enterprise, reflects the business and management ideas of an enterprise, which is also a relatively modern enterprise management way.
Each business when our users use these systems at ordinary times, they will produce a large amount of data, the precipitation of data. It’s called the “data walks in” strategy. Then with the data, enterprises can carry out the second stage of IT information construction, that is, data information.
Data informatization is what we usually hear, such as big data, business intelligence, BI data analysis, data mining, visual reports and so on. The main purpose of data informatization construction is to help our enterprises fully understand the actual business operation and management results of enterprises, change from the previous experience driven to data driven, and finally form business role support to improve the accuracy of roles, which is a higher level of enterprise management. Therefore, the construction of business informatization and data informatization is a kind of upstream and downstream relationship. Without the foundation of business informatization, there will be no precipitation of business and management data, and there will be no data informatization. The construction of informatization should be based on the construction of business informatization, and the construction of data informatization must be fed back to the business itself, which is related and driven by each other with business informatization, which is called the concept of “data going out”.
