Ali Cloud has released PostgreSQL 10 high availability local SSD with JSONB, BRIN index, GROUPING SETS/CUBE/ROLLUP and UPSERT.
In 2015, Ali Cloud announced the official launch of RDS for PostgreSQL service. At that time, Ali Cloud became the first cloud computing service provider in China to support MySQL, SQL Server and PostgreSQL relational databases simultaneously.
On the cloud, users can enjoy the PostgreSQL engine’s high compatibility with SQL standards and NoSQL, powerful ability to process complex queries, and rich plug-in support. In addition, users can greatly reduce operation and maintenance costs and hardware investment.
It is now the fourth year that Alibaba Cloud has supported PostgreSQL.
Ali Cloud database RDS for PostgreSQL has become a practical database with many functions including easy processing of spatial information, strong NoSQL compatibility, support for full-text search, support for OSS cloud storage expansion, support for data warehouse data sharing, etc. The IoT service, which integrates JSON, GIS and IP network types, has a good performance.

PostgreSQL 10 high availability supports parallel sequential scanning, syndication, and aggregation, and the new version also supports full text retrieval of phrases to improve processing performance.
