This is the C disk I just cleaned up. No need to install software to clean up my space. My brand is Asus.

Win10 computers should have search function, if not open, you can right mouse click on the taskbar.

Pop-up menu to find [search] – [Display search icon], check it.

Go back to the desktop, in the bottom corner of the desktop, find the magnifying glass icon, and then click to enter the search screen.

In the search box type: Store Settings; The system automatically searches for: Enable storage awareness.

Click storage Settings, open storage awareness, you can see the use of your C disk and the space occupied.

Here’s what I’ve cleaned up.

Generally we choose temporary files for cleaning, my files are mainly Windows update processing takes up a lot of memory. If your Windows update process takes up a lot of memory, you can safely delete it without affecting the running of your application.

In the process of releasing disk C, I found a problem: although the software we downloaded has changed its installation path and is not installed in disk C, the system’s default data cache is still in disk C, as is our common browser. So I changed their cache paths in one software setting after another, and some of the cached data would follow. Be sure to watch it when you download new software in the future!

C disk is not enough friends, hurry up and try!
