I. Prepare materials

1. Basic information of the staff of the applicant institution (as the applicant or the authorized person, the staff must be the staff of the organization) : name, job title (English), email address, mobile phone number, date of birth.

2. Basic information of the certifier or the authorized person (in the organization, there is an authoritative representative organization, generally fill in the section chief or deputy section chief) : name, job title (English), email address, mobile phone number, date of birth.

3. The basic information of the applicant organization: name of the organization (in English), address (in English), official website and telephone number.

4. Supports Visa or Mastercard credit cards (here because of the security code and other issues, the customer can also pay for the payment)

2. Sign up for Apple ID

If you already have an Apple ID, skip this step.

Fill in the information, confirm it and click “Continue;

Tips: Please remember the password and confidentiality questions.

2. Fill in the verification code sent to the email, and then “Continue”;

3. Fill in the verification code sent to your phone and then “Continue”;

4. Apple ID registration completed

5. Enable two-factor authentication for Apple ID

Any Apple ID account with at least one device running the latest version of iOS, iPados, or MacOS can use two-factor authentication. Learn more.

To enable two-factor authentication, follow these steps once you have logged in your Apple ID on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.

a)

Turn on two-factor authentication in Settings

If you are using iOS 10.3 or later:

Go to “Settings” > “[Your Name]” > “Password and Security”.

Tap “Enable two-factor authentication”.

Tap “continue.”

If you are using iOS 10.2 or lower:

Go to “Settings” > “iCloud”.

Tap on your Apple ID> “Password and Security.”

Tap “Enable two-factor authentication”.

Tap “continue.”

You may be asked to answer questions about Apple ID security.

b)

Enter and verify the trusted phone number

Enter the phone number you want to use to receive the CAPTCHA code when you log in. You can choose whether to receive a verification code via SMS or an automated voice call.

After clicking “Next,” Apple will send a verification code to the phone number you provide.

Enter the verification code to verify your phone number, and then turn on two-factor authentication.

Turn on two-factor authentication on your Mac

If you are using MacOS Catalina:

Select the Apple menu  > “System Preferences” > “Apple ID”.

Click on “Password and Security” below your name.

Click “Enable two-factor authentication”.

If you are using MacOS Mojave or earlier:

Select the Apple menu > “System Preferences” > “iCloud” > “Account Details”.

Click Security.

Click “Enable two-factor authentication”.

IOS 10.3 or MacOS

Some Apple IDs created in 10.12.4 and later are protected by two-factor authentication by default. If so, you will notice that two-factor authentication is turned on on these devices.

If you are already using two-step authentication and want to update your security Settings, turn two-step authentication off and then turn two-factor authentication on.

If your account does not meet the two-factor authentication criteria, you can still use two-step authentication to protect your information.

III. Register the developer account

1. Go to the developer’s website

Enter the two-factor authentication code;

Find “Account” on the upper right corner of the page and click to enter;

Enter the Apple ID account password to log in;

2. Agree to the agreement and continue;

3. In the “Welcome” directory, find “Join the Apple Developer Program” and click to enter;

4. Click “Enroll” in the upper right corner;

5. Pull down the bottom of the new page and click “Start Your Enrollment”;

6. Find out more about it.

7. Locate the “Register as an organization for the Apple Developer Program”

Refer to Step 4 to complete the registration.

4. Complete registration on the app

If you are a Developer working for a company, non-profit organization, joint venture, partnership, or government organization in mainland China, please follow these steps to register for the Apple Developer Program on your iPhone or iPad. Please note that as an organization’s Apple Developer Program registrant, you must have the legal authority to bind your organization to the legal agreement. You must be the owner/founder of the organization, a member of the executive team, a senior project leader, or an employee with legal authority granted by a senior employee. To get started, you need to prepare the following:

An iPhone running iOS 12.4, iOS 13.1 or later, or an iPad running IDOS 13.1 or later, and make sure it has a lock screen password, Touch ID, or Face ID enabled.

Apple ID with two-factor authentication enabled.

The latest version of the Apple Developer app is installed on the device.

Log in to iCloud on your device.

Began to register

Open the Apple Developer app.

Tap the Accounts TAB.

Log in with your Apple ID.

Click on “Register Now.”

Check your plan’s benefits and requirements, and then click Continue.

Enter your information as an account holder

Enter your first name, last name, ID number and telephone number. Do not enter aliases, nicknames or company names as your surname or first name. Incorrect entry of your legal name will delay the registration process.

To verify your identity, the system will ask you to take a selfie:

Make sure your face is clearly displayed in the viewfinder, then tap “Take”.

Look at your selfie to make sure it’s sharp, and then tap “OK.”

Enter your organization information

Follow the steps on the next few screens to provide the following information:

Entity types.

Name of legal entity. We do not accept DBAs, fictitious companies, trade names, or subsidiaries. The legal entity name will appear as “Supplier” in the APP you distribute. Example: Supplier: ABC Company, Inc.

D ‑ ‑ ‑ U N S number. Your organization must have D U N S number, so that we can verify the identity and legal entity status of your organization. These unique nine-digit numbers are assigned by Dun & Bradstreet and are widely used as standard corporate identifiers.

Head office address and telephone number.

Web site. Your organization’s Web site must be public, and the domain name must be associated with your organization.

Confirmation of signing authority. Confirm that you have the right to bind your organisation to legal agreements and provide contact information for an employee who must be able to prove that you have the right to sign.

If your organization is a non-profit, educational or government organization, you may choose to apply for a waiver of dues.

After you submit the information, Apple will review it. You will then receive an email with the next steps.

Complete registration and purchase

Once your registration information has been validated and approved, you will receive an email informing you that you can complete the registration.

Open the Apple Developer app.

Tap the Accounts TAB.

Log in with your Apple ID.

Click on “Continue to register.”

Agree to the Apple Developer Program License Agreement (English).

View your annual membership subscription details, and then click on “Renewal for ¥688 per year.”

Membership will be offered in the form of an annual automatic renewal subscription, which will be automatically renewed unless you choose to cancel. Your purchase transaction will use the payment method associated with your iTunes and App Store accounts. If you need to use an organization’s credit card, in the iTunes Store and App Store section of Device Settings, add the credit card to your logged in Apple ID. This Apple ID can be different from the one used when you register. You will receive a receipt via email that can be used for company billing or reimbursement. This receipt can be resended by email at any time. You can unsubscribe at any time in Settings, but cancel at least one day before your annual renewal date. Annual fees paid in the year of cancellation will not be refundable.
