In the recent DTCC 2019 (the 10th China Database Technology Conference), Aliyun self-developed cloud native database POLARDB was selected as 2019 China database – “the best Innovative product of the year”.
POLARDB is a cloud native database officially commercialized by Ali Cloud in 2018, which adopts the design of storage and computing separation and integration of software and hardware. The high-speed RDMA network provides a shared storage architecture for rapid and flexible capacity expansion. A single instance can be expanded to 1000 cores and 100TB of storage space, meeting the requirements of large-scale service scenarios. At 100TB of data capacity, POLARDB offers a cost-effective alternative to traditional commercial databases.
