The STO Express IoT cloud edge architecture based on ACK@Edge was selected as “2021 Top Ten Practice Cases of Distributed Cloud and Cloud Edge Cooperation”.

AliCloud and China Telecommunications Institute jointly built the standard of cloud edge collaborative system

The Outline of the National 14th Five-Year Plan clearly points out the need to “synergistically develop cloud services and edge computing services”. Cloud edge collaboration technology provides more global elastic computing resources for all industries, and provides targeted computing resources for the edge side, accelerating the collaborative development of all industries and cloud computing. However, enterprises have different understandings of cloud-edge collaborative architecture, and the level of relevant technologies and products in the market is uneven. Therefore, the construction of a standard system is particularly important. In this context, China Telecommunications Institute, together with more than 30 enterprises and institutions such as Ali Cloud, jointly promoted the standard system of cloud edge collaboration. After extensive collection and in-depth discussion, in this conference, the cloud edge collaboration standard system was announced, and the White Paper of Cloud Native Edge Technology (2021) was officially released.

AliCloud Edge Container Service ACK@Edge has passed 33 capability tests

On the one hand, the establishment of cloud edge collaboration standard system can help enterprises accurately evaluate their cloud edge collaboration ability and formulate scientific and reasonable evolution path. On the other hand, based on the standard system, cloud edge collaborative product providers can accurately grasp the market demand and technology development direction, and promote the evolution of product form.

In the assessment of cloud edge collaboration capability in 2021 guided by this standard system, Ali cloud edge container service ACK@Edge obtained the standard certification of “cloud edge collaboration capability in 2021” through all 33 tests including basic capability, collaboration capability, security capability, service assurance, quality assurance and other capability inspection dimensions.



ACK@Edge is a cloud-side integrated collaborative hosting scheme launched after the deep mining of edge computing of Ali cloud container services and the implementation of the appeal of cloud native landing. Taking CNCF Sandbox project OpenYurt as the core framework, it adheres to the service concept of “cloud standard management and control, moderate autonomy at the edge”, adopts non-intrusive methods to enhance, and provides capabilities such as edge autonomy, edge unit, edge traffic management, and native operation and maintenance API support.
