If we go back a few years, at the beginning of the mobile era, when the iPhone was first released, there was a point around 2012, 2013 where the number of smartphone shipments exceeded that of traditional feature phones. After that, everyone knows what happened. There has been an explosion in smartphone apps and the audio and video content derived from apps. The whole cycle and rhythm of that explosion is very, very dense. How close is it? There have been more mobile applications in five years than there have been PC applications in the entire Internet in the last 20 years. It’s almost as if five years of mobile apps have gone the way of the last 20 years of PC apps.

At this point in time, we’re at this inflection point of cloud computing, server infrastructure inflection point, and you can actually look ahead and see what kind of changes are going to happen to the applications and content that are going to be generated on the cloud computing infrastructure. Of course being in the enterprise business is a little different than being in the consumer business. Because the consumer business comes and goes a little faster, the enterprise business is more far-reaching. Its overall layout may be slightly slower. I think this trend is inevitable. My prediction is that the whole SaaS business in China will experience an extraordinary high growth rate in the next few years. This rapid development is not in the usual sense of the word rapid development. Not necessarily in the form of CRM, ERP or supply chain management software in mature MARKETS in the United States, and so on. The Chinese market has its own characteristics, has its own soil, but also has its own maturity.

Let me just pick up two numbers to see where the growth is and where the opportunity is. You can see the size of the whole laaS market in China, the market size of laaS has reached 4.65 billion DOLLARS. The global market adds up to about $36 billion. The Chinese market is now full of SaaS rental fees, about $2 billion, 1:40. So the infrastructure is already growing at a high rate, slowly rolling out.
