Since they are all videos about several open source projects I have done, I will check the comments regularly and help solve any problems.
After I finished the comment, I suddenly found that there was also a bullet-screen list area on the page. I had not noticed this list before, and I had hardly seen the bullet-screen of these videos, so I felt embarrassed.
Then I saw several bullets posted by Bilibili’s friends, which almost made me laugh silly.
Total loss of sound quality, open screen lightning strike and so on, at that time I felt very outrageous, a little get my mentality, but I clicked the video to listen to it, just opened my mouth I was shocked, listening to their total loss of sound quality of the opening, almost leave this beautiful world.
A short review of video course recording
These video, should be recorded in 2019, at that time, I also really little video production base, so happen, also hope you can understand I am not a very good video producers, no video production experience before, doesn’t even have a set of video production equipment, at that time is to use my recorded 2015 buy’s desktop.

The reason for making the video

After work, there was a lot of time left in the day, so I was always looking for something to do. Starting in 2017, I wrote a blog, starting in 2018, I wrote a paid column, and at the end of 2018, I had no column to write, nothing to do, so I started thinking about other ideas. You want to try a couple of instructional videos?
This is the cause of making video, see others teaching video recording, oneself also want to try, because programmers are a little busy career, explore the sideline really is not very convenient, so is learning the practice of some predecessors, is blog, column, books, teaching video, and so on, some way is difficult, not too good, Choose something less complicated to try.
Recording course is just an idea, of course, also not too seriously, because at that time his for video recording was nothing, equipment, software, nor, I at that time I think video recording is a more difficult and eat computer configuration of a job, and then began to learn to record video.
Overcome psychological barriers
Although the recording of teaching videos is not that complicated compared with the publication of physical books and the production of columns, I still encounter many problems in practice, including my own mentality and difficulties in learning. The first one is mentality.
The psychological factor was really difficult to overcome. When I began to learn to record, EVERY time I spoke to the computer, I wanted to stop, and as soon as I opened my mouth, I thought whether I should turn off the computer. There was no uncomfortable place, but I was a little shy and could not open my mouth.
Shyness is one of the reasons, because it almost wanted to give up, adjusted for a period of time, because I didn’t want to give up, but I couldn’t speak, so I recorded intermittently during that period of time, I don’t remember how long it took, but finally I could speak normally.
Then, I met another thing, inexplicable tension, while recording the video, suddenly the voice in my throat stopped, every time this happened, I would stop or dry cough two times to cover up embarrassment.
I can’t speak, not only because I’m nervous, but sometimes I can’t think of what to say, or my head is suddenly broken.
The above are the two most impressive problems at the beginning of video recording: unable to open, suddenly stuck, rookie stage, there is no way, can only record a few times, adjust the mentality.
It took me almost half a year from the idea of recording video courses to the recording of videos, and then to overcome some small psychological obstacles, during which I did not force myself to do anything.
I just think I can have a try at video recording. Although it takes a long time to prepare, it doesn’t matter. Sharpening knives is not wrong for cutting wood, if I don’t even prepare well, how can I do it well?
Screen recording software and equipment
I want to live to sit in front of the computer, at the same time also can normal voice said, and minimize the stuck situation, these are the personal attitude adjustment, ready to these later, again to choose a recording software, recording equipment, etc., with which computer, such as choosing what software, is all some petty things, but it’s been a long time to also choose and adaptation.
Check what equipment others are using, post questions, consult some experienced older brothers, watch some courses that have been online, and summarize some experience by learning other people’s teaching videos.
IT type teaching video, recording mode is very similar, that is, recording screen content is good, secondly, the lecturer’s voice should be very clear to record into, do not need special fancy editing, of course, good editing effect will be better, but you can not bother so much at the beginning, after all, the cost of learning is too high.
First of all, the choice of computer, because many people choose Mac and Windows to record the teaching video, I was not so sure at the beginning, so I tried them all, and finally, I still choose Windows system to record.
Said the simple here, when I first began to study Mac computers have been used to record video, Mac recorded video is really clear, but the exported video file is too large, and many of the software to use is not particularly well, finally let I give up a thing is my Mac can’t external recording equipment, Because the radio microphone may have two wires, one power cord and one equipment cable, I was confused at that time. Maybe it was my own problem and I could not configure it, so I finally used the Windows computer at home to record.
And then the selection of screen recording software, I remember that there was a period of time every day in the search of this software and the use of tutorials, Mac version, Windows version, anyway, is a variety of search, and then download and use, including its own screen recording software, and what OBS, ScreenFlow and so on software, There are also a lot of domestic companies to do the charging software, in short, have used a circle, the final choice of their own use more handy recording screen software, also not expensive, but also practical.
In addition to the choice of software, and other auxiliary equipment, such as a radio microphone and headset on recording effect is not very good, so I bought a microphone a, choose a microphone also saw many other types of microphones, function a lot is also very funny, but I am not the host, choose a simple enough.
I also bought a display screen, because a display screen is not very comfortable to use, a display screen is only enough for video recording content display, there are other information also need to display, a screen is not enough. So I bought another one, with one screen for recording and another for notes, files and the like, so it wouldn’t get stuck too often.
All of these are made when recording videos for platforms. Before that, I had been learning to record videos for a long time. When recording videos for some IT platforms, I updated the equipment, so that the recording content will be better.
Recording and launching teaching videos
After that, it is to contribute to some platforms, and then record teaching videos according to the requirements. The platform often has detailed recording requirements, so it can be produced according to the requirements. If there is a problem in the audit process, there will be feedback, and it can be modified according to the feedback.
This process is more tired, want to choose the right to record time, and sometimes will be noisy in the home, to communicate with their parents, early last year should be at 11 p.m. to 1 a.m video recording, the weekend is in the afternoon to record a few sets, 10 minutes of video to record for an hour, and often to talk too much, my throat dumb, So it was a pretty devastating experience.
After the recording is finished, it is handed over to the platform for review and launch. In short, it is guided and processed by someone. Basically, the lecturer only needs to ensure the quality of the video and course.
