I graduated from Chongqing Normal No.2 School in 2017, majoring in communication engineering, but majoring in web front-end development. In my senior year, I found a good job with a monthly salary of 7K and practiced in a company for three or four months before graduation.
Report to the company, after graduation to participate in the orientation, training period mainly study relevant systems of the company, culture and business domain knowledge, the class in the morning, afternoon and evening ‘diathesis, time is the busy every day, 15 days after the training, with four 60 performance do not conform to the requirements of the company were fired in the probation period, one of them is me.
At that time, I doubted whether I really did not perform well, so I was recruited as a programmer and took part in the 15-day training, but I said my ability was not good. Maybe IT was because I was not active during the training. As a programmer, I don’t know why the company requires me to be so active.
My tutor was also surprised by my result, but he couldn’t help it. Before he left, he told me that he would be my tutor as long as I didn’t mind. I am very grateful for his trust, but also because of his words, I did not doubt my own ability too much.
Graduation namely unemployed, is not in school already unripe, cannot attend the school to recruit, do not have working experience, the agency recruit does not reach the requirement. In all kinds of recruitment websites have a resume, got a call from the phone is training institutions, after more than a month after suffering, finally there are companies call I go to the interview, was not satisfied with my ability, but at the time of August does not hiring, finally let me try for three days, no salary, performance good again.
During those three days, I was under a lot of pressure, fearing that I could not stay because of my poor performance. Even though the company did not have five insurances and one housing fund at that time, the monthly salary was 5K, there was no other welfare, and the team was small, I could not be picky about my own situation at that time.
After three days, I was lucky to stay. I spent three days learning vUE knowledge and applied it to the project. In the following three months, I mainly used VUE technology stack and participated in vuE-CLI scaffolding construction project, and had access to Less processor, Webpack packaging tool, mobile end adaptation scheme, Flex layout and other knowledge. The front-end technology has improved a lot.
Three months later, I was confronted with a bottleneck in my growth and many imperfect systems in the company, so I decided to resign. Half a year’s working experience, they are not good to look for a job, quit is basically naked to resume, at last, through the school recruit to a state-owned enterprises, state-owned enterprises led the try, but, to sign a contract with a staffing company complete five social insurance and one housing fund, meal to fill these are standard in state-owned enterprises, at that time, no other better choice, is the sign of the company.
Also have to thank the company three months of experience, let I to the present team can get started to work immediately, before here also have learned a lot of technology, because of my work with high efficiency, good performance, get the appreciation of the leadership, give me a wage increase, also put me to the front leader, although our group there were only two or three people.
The product of the group I was in charge of at that time was in a period of rapid development, with crazy iteration of functions. I basically worked overtime every day for more than a year. I didn’t complain much because I was not capable enough.
One year later, due to various reasons, this product was stopped, and people in our group were also assigned to other product groups to do some less important things, just like running errands, without a sense of belonging.
I didn’t know, also has experienced these state-owned companies, if your project does not bottom go to, you will have a difficult in this company, the company will not take the initiative to get rid of you, but you will not be reused, basic leadership before unless you have other projects, and the company leadership support, otherwise you will only be mediocre, became a irrelevant person.
I stayed in this state for more than a year. When I came to this company for the fourth year, I thought I could get a full-time job. However, I met with a big adjustment of the company’s organizational structure, and many regulations and leaders changed, telling me that I could not get a full-time job because I could not meet the requirements.
I could not see the future in this company. I felt that I had worked overtime and paid so hard for this company, but there was no result in the end. After much thinking, I finally chose to resign. It happened to be 3-5 years since I worked, so it was easier for me to find a job. Through internal promotion, I quickly found the next job and then went through the procedures of resignation. After I left, several people in our previous group also left.
It was only after I left that I realized that the company required me to be a full-time employee. I graduated from a second school, and my previous assessment was not that high. I didn’t have a lot of contacts in the company, so it must be difficult to be a full-time employee.
Now the company is a private enterprise, and the commuting time is much longer than before, and the five insurances and one housing fund are not as high as before. However, the overall salary is tens of thousands higher than before, and the overall income still increases, and there is no need to work overtime in this company. The head of the department is nice enough not to force you to work overtime. As a girl, working here is very good, after tax can have ten thousand, no overtime, in Chongqing this place I am also satisfied, and I will soon get married, have a family, more time to devote to the family, this kind of work rhythm is just right for me.
In general, my work journey has not been smooth, but it is ok. I know that no one’s work is smooth, but I have to adjust my mind and look at things objectively. Work will always have unsatisfactory time, the key depends on what kind of mentality we look at.
Even if I have to work overtime once in a while, I don’t complain. I don’t want to work here until I retire. The Times are changing so fast that nobody knows what the next 5 years, 10 years from now, I just manage the current pace for 3 to 5 years.
Now I just pursue to keep an optimistic attitude, work and rest regularly, eat properly, do everything well in my work and live each day well in my life, that’s enough.
