Hello, this is Link. This article is the first time to share my experience and thoughts in nuggets. Thank you for your willingness to come in and learn about my life.

On March 29, 2021, the night before I officially entered the office, I posted a message on my wechat moments. I hope I can still love life after entering the society. Now I can look back and say, “I did it.” 😁

A few highlights of the year

Graduation thesis/graduation project/Job hunting near

The biggest growth for me this year was not technically, but cognitively, a profound awareness of my own ordinariness. In September last year, I decided to start learning the front end, and fumbled all the way to March, which is the spring recruitment node, before looking for a job. My tardiness made the graduation thesis and graduation project waiting for me at this time 😂, but I chose a topic that I was not competent at that time. As a result, MY thesis, graduation project and job hunting were all piled up together. As a result, I had a large cognitive deviation of myself and always thought THAT I could find a better job.

This made me feel very anxious at the time. Why are things piling up? Why can’t I get a better job? Even this mentality affected my efficiency in finding a job, and I became very self-abased and passive. After each interview, I was basically anxious and did not go back to the interview. Graduation thesis and project also did not have what actual progress. Yeah, I’ve been doing that for weeks.

After reflecting on the pain, I decided not to think too much. Instead, I decided to take action, break things down, and complete them one at a time. Fortunately, I finally found a job and finished my graduation defense.

Start thinking about life/the future

Around friends, some went to byte, some went to BAT. I have been regretting that I could not enter a better company. But combined with their own technical level, but also temporarily not ability. Therefore, after entering the society, there is a big gap between work and heart, which makes me frustrated. It also made me look at myself and examine myself. I began to accept myself as a human being, and this turned out to be a turning point in my attitude towards life.

Accept my own ordinariness. I used to worry that others were better than me, or that I didn’t live up to my expectations. It’s time for me to move on from this and start focusing on the results and benefits of learning a technology and instead trying to derive pleasure from learning and using it.

Stop comparing with others and blindly follow suit. As much as I love the front end, I also know that with my current education and abilities, front-line programmers aren’t meant to be a permanent option. I also believe that everyone has their own path, after all, “Dachang” is not Rome, I should also find their own path.

What changes have I made?

Reading a book

This year to say the most thinking, is to clarify the meaning of life. I read a few books about it: “The Wisdom of Life,” “Poor Charlie Munger,” and now “A Brief History of Mankind.” Of course, I didn’t actually watch much of it, but I still have a hobby.

Stick to and develop their own hobbies

2. Hiking/traveling

Adhere to the hobby since the university, I am a special love of the outdoor world 😝 to all kinds of places to step on pits

3. Have 2 cats and 1 dog

Technology has made its own insistence

  2. I’m currently reading JavaScript Advanced Programming, Algorithms 4th Edition.
  3. Start to read Vue2.6 framework source/VUE-core-analyse in the second half
  4. Start learning arithmetic/learning-arithmetic
  5. Wrote a React primer project called The React study-Guide and was honored to be liked by @Daisanteacher and received 50 🌟
