preface

I’ve been using the Digg browser plugin since it was released. During this time, I found some advantages and disadvantages to share a few with you. The version I downloaded from Google Store did not update automatically, so there were some problems. Then I installed it again by changing the installation package. If you haven’t downloaded it yet, look at the official documentation of the Nuggets plugin, with the installation tutorial video.

I’ll show you the plugin

The plugin readme

Since there is no text description in the upper right toolbar, you may not understand. I’m going to show you what these little ICONS are for.Click on the small icon in the upper right corner -> Select my -> Select the introduction of the plug-in, you can see it, this is its own description, but also to guide you.

In terms of functional architecture

Its function is still very comprehensive, in a word.

It has everything you want and everything you could possibly want.

Why do you say that? Let’s see

What you want

In plug-in mode selection –> Select Tool mode, it has quite a lot of features, just check to see if you want it listed for you, you might want it also given out. Function to do or pretty much, usually take the browser to do the most is nothing more thansearchHis quick query option is perfectly adequate. Google, Baidu, Github…… (Just so you know, it supports TAB switching.)

You might want to

This is to see the shortcut tool bar IP query, time stamp, TWO-DIMENSIONAL code, translation, notes. A small IP query is just the tip of the iceberg, there is a mystery oh. Let’s just say you’re moving or not.

From a UI perspective

The UI looks pretty good overall, especially in Diablo mode!! The five-star high praise

Not only talented, but good-looking.

A little detail,

  • In this plugin page, many of the third-party links are in the form of Drawer side. This point carefully, if the click jump is really poor experience.
  • Clear block, between each block clear hierarchy, appear more and not miscellaneous, more and not disorderly. That sounds good to me.
  • Block function is clear, each small partition has its own filter bar, this is very human!! Really don’t underestimate this filter bar, it’s definitely icing on the cake.

The drawer pop-up experience is really good

Little things are big things

My usage habits

I prefer it in the dark theme tool mode, no problem with daily use is satisfied. Search is probably what I use most, followed by clicking on the top left corner to go straight to nuggets. I’m a fussy person, and if the gold digger was ugly, I would have uninstalled it a long time ago. To name a few of my usage scenarios:

  • I’m so crazy about code, trying to get my hands dirty. I’ll browse the boiling point section on the right or click to go to the nuggets boiling point section.
  • When I have a problem, I will use the search column. It is a little annoying to have to manually climb the wall every time.
  • I will use translation for a named scene, because my English is not that good
  • In my spare time, IF I want to browse GitHub, I will filter today’s trending. The same is true of nuggets articles.
  • Quick tools with easy to remember is really good, this function is good!!

conclusion

In general, I think the Nuggets browser plugin is quite good and has no problem with daily use. Both UI and functions are outstanding. XDM is worth a try, dare not say love, into your life minutes is no problem.

Product Optimization Suggestions

1. Set a small icon in the upper right corner and add a caption is more friendly!! Even a mouse over a tooltip

2. By the way, bring a “wall climbing tool”, which can greatly improve users’ happiness!! The user base is programmers. Everybody likes itEffective access to the Internet

3. It would be better to have a more complete note-taking function in the shortcut tool, providing some simple templates and small functions would be the icing on the cake.

4. It would be better to add a random ICON in the top left corner of the nuggets booklet
