The year 2019 has already passed, known as the first year of 5G, followed by the popularization of 5G in 2020, and has made great progress in adaptation and popularization. For the coming year of 2021, it will also be a year full of opportunities.

This year is also the year of rapid development of VR. Relying on the popularity of 5G, VR video has made breakthroughs in transmission rate and definition to a large extent. Not only TV supports 4K and 8K, but also the resolution of VR video is improving.

At present, many VR devices use the display screen of mobile phones, which supports up to 4K, 2K in one eye, and up to 16K if you want to achieve the most natural definition of human eyes. However, in the video projects we encountered, due to the huge resource consumption of 16K and high requirements on the server, few platforms can transmit such high resolution video stream, and few projects can apply it.

Recently, the TSINGSEE Qingxi Video team received a request from a customer that the platform support a 16K VR camera, but the VR camera cannot directly output RTMP stream, only RTSP output. Because the two protocols have different characteristics, they need to be connected through different platforms.

We recommend the cooperative scheme of EasyNVR and EasyDSS. We suggest that this project deploy a set of EasyNVR on the Intranet, and then deploy a set of EasyDSS on the public network. Since EasyDSS cannot get RTSP stream, it can only be connected through RTMP protocol. Therefore, we can use the push function of EasyNVR to push the video stream to the EasyDSS platform of the public network, so that the video can be played in the exhibition hall and VR player.

The program is mainly achieved through the following steps:

1. EasyNVR connects 16K VR video and transfers it to EasyDSS;

2, EasyDSS direct flow distribution;

3. Play video stream output by EasyDSS in the exhibition hall and VR player.

Many public clouds cannot achieve the distribution of 16K video stream. After testing by customers, the solution of EasyDSS+EasyNVR can directly achieve the output of 16K video stream, which is highly feasible and easy to deploy.

The video platform developed by TSINGSEE Video can not only be used alone, but also be able to pull and push video streams in many complex projects or occasions, such as EasyNVR+EasyDSS solution and EasyGBS+EasyNVR solution described in this paper.

At present, the highest screen resolution on the market is 8K, which is 7680*4320. If you want 16K resolution 15260*8640, you need four 8K resolution monitors to form a 16K resolution screen.
