How to find the answer to the problem?
Leo Tolstoy said that all happy families are alike; Every unhappy family is unhappy in its own way. This sentence in the professional dilemma, too, what’s in here I don’t want to discuss the workplace unfortunately, because this is like poverty, a man kept saying, what do you think his poor can’t even wear underpants, said to the dark is meaningless, because he is poor, but we have to do is to find the root cause of his poverty, and get rid of poverty.
Same with careers.
But what’s the problem behind the problem?
The question is why can’t you solve it?
Because we can’t fix it in the context of what happened. – Team 4D excellence. – Charlie Pellerin.
1. Everyone has his own short board, and the others are not familiar with the situation.
2. There are two ways to solve a problem. You can either solve it yourself or ask others to solve it for you. Of course you said forget it. Yeah, but that’s not the problem. Obviously, most of what makes a problem a problem, and we’re troubled by it, is that we’re either inefficient or unable to solve it ourselves. So who is it with?
Why can’t you solve the problem? There are only two points. You can’t solve it by yourself. So who might be the right person?
1. Someone who has failed and succeeded, but probably doesn’t have the skills to teach you. Or maybe he’s just trying to get his way on you, consciously or unconsciously.
2. A psychologist or career teacher may be able to give you advice, but it may not necessarily lead to specific solutions. One is that the career counselor is reluctant or encouraged to offer a direct solution, and the other is that the problem you’re dealing with may not be one he’s encountered before.
3. Parents or best friends and friends, colleagues, teachers. They may mean well, but they may not necessarily have the skills to help you solve your problems.
4. Paid third party, he may help you, but the effect may not give objective and long-term advice due to interests or many factors. Uncle Ben said quite right, the pants seller told you that one leg is long and the other leg is short, do you still buy pants? The first thing they want to do is pay the user and sell the product, not your future.
5. Other people you can turn to or give advice.
What is the right person? You need at least three of those to give you a recommendation that’s more than 60% reliable.
Tell a fable,
A guy went to a China shop to buy China. He knocked another bowl with his bowl and shook his head. Then he knocked another bowl and shook his head. What’s going on? The boy said your bowl is no good! What does the boss say? The young man said, “I have heard that the only good China when two pieces collide is clear.” The owner smiled and said, “Why don’t you take two of my bowls?” The results were crisp. “What’s wrong?” asked the young man. The boss said, because the bowl you took to test my China is broken.
So don’t go looking for better China with the broken bowl you’ve been given or in your own hands. Put your bowl down, assume someone else’s bowl is good, verify it, and see the results.
One of the biggest dilemmas in the workplace for many people is not knowing that their bowl is broken or that they have been given a broken one. They have never even seen good China and can’t even find it in a China shop.
Finally, don’t take advice from someone who hasn’t had an experience you admire or fear. How can you be sure a man can safely get you to the top of a mountain if he hasn’t climbed or fallen himself?
