Manually configuring hosts

macOS

Hosts File location: /etc/hosts.

Perform the following operations on the macOS:

1: First, open Finder.
2: Use the combination keyShift+Command+GOpen “Go to folder” and type in the input box/etc/hosts.
3: Then it jumps tohostsFile location.

Note: If you use VS Code, you can modify and save directly with VS Code without copying files.

Copy the hosts file to the desktop, right-click it, choose Open Mode > Text Edit, open the hosts file, and copy the previous hosts content to the desktop.

Then replace your modified hosts file with /etc/hosts.

Note: If the password input box pops up, you need to enter the password of your current login account.
